  • Thank you Christina.
Wow. Now, I have a name for it. I never knew why I struggled with numbness. I always struggle to fight to “live in the moment” especially when I feel intense love, anxiety, fear, and anger. What I mean by that is, I can be present physically, but somehow I feel far away mentally. I can be having a conversation but it feels as if I am watching myself talk. In other areas, time can pass so fast during events that are supposed to be happy ones. When I am around loved ones especially, time goes so fast because I am not all there. I am there physically, but emotionally I am scattered. I always pray for God to help me to live in the moment so that I can experience life to the fullest.
Thank you so much for posting this to help me heal.
    Sincerely,
    Elizabeth

  • Your dissociation video was the best yet; great format, examples and clarity of explanation. Love the self soothing comments as well as the prayer at the end. Thank you for sharing. Can I get a copy of the prayer? Thank you.

  • Hi Christina,

You talk in most, if not all (of those that I’ve seen so far 😊), of your videos about feeling our feelings. What does that look like exactly? How do we know when we are allowing ourselves to feel and not going backwards and wallowing in it as a victim? How do you acknowledge the anger and rage and feel it effectively without risking stuffing it or expressing it? (I usually stuff it) Do you have a video out there already that goes over this?

I’m doing good. YOU have made a HUGE difference in that. I’m not sure exactly when my process started, but I have only become fully aware of what I have been going through since my breakup in October until I found your videos a few weeks ago or so.

    Very grateful for you!
    Chellie

  • I have been watching and listening to your videos for a couple of years now and have learned so much about myself. I appreciate not only the process of understanding myself that you’ve helped but you provided ways to heal. Many I’ve heard of before (EFT, meditation, attachment trauma etc) but you’re introducing other ways to clear energy and to shake up my energy to unborn.
I have been an upper chest breather for years. I’ve experienced flushes from my chest into my head regularly for 4-5 years. I’m beginning to understand how my nervous system was damaged. 2 years ago I had a neurofibroma on my upper gum (benign tumor growing on the nerve!). I believe I have one now on my lower gym. I will continue to heal with your positivity and that of others I follow. Thank you! Vicki

  • Hi…I totally related to this video…and one of the things you didn’t mention but I feel I decided to cope with binge eating rather than excessive exercise….still trying to cope with this aspect…will definitely listen to this again and try the FMI technique….thank you sooo much.
    God bless

  • Hi Christina,

I wanted to say thank you to you for making this video. It really resonated with me. I recently went through a number of painful life events, including being spontaneously laid off from my job, and most likely having lost someone I love who’s very dear to me (long story). In the past few months, I really felt like I learned how to open my heart after a lifetime of being blocked in that area to varying degrees. I started to feel connected to people again, finally being able to hug them in the deep way you described in the video… if anything, the one thing I will be taking away most from this video is that it’s okay to feel pain and not dissociate. Although I feel like I’m in a lot of pain right now, I’ve learned that it’s okay to feel everything, not just the happy-go-lucky emotions and feelings. Your livecast that you did a few days ago really helped with that as well. This video encourages me to keep going along the path of opening my heart. Sending you much love and appreciation from the Czech Republic! With best wishes to you, Petra.

  • Thank you so much Christina and team 💞

  • Christina, I loved your video on Disassociation/fragmentation…I didnt realize nor was I completely aware of the eight signs
of disassociation. I have been feeling through-out the years, until recently how much I felt numb…sold inside…I missed
the warmth Inside…the connection I felt inside regarding my connection to God. I have felt for many years that I somehow cut
myself off from Him. I also felt very uncomfortable in my own skin. I am also good at – (that I have noticed over the year)
the lack of self-awareness i have developed. I really loved your tips on how to heal disassociation. As well as your Mantra
that everything is ok..emotions are our friends, etc. I also wrote down the prayer you included at the end…and will say it every
morning and nite. Thank You for your videos.

  • How do you deal with the emotion in the moment if you have to quickly shift to do something else? For example, a colleague has triggered anger in you, but you then have to quickly move on to something else; a meeting, teaching a class, you have no time to process the emotion, it sits in your stomach.

  • What a helpful video and I look forward to looking up some of your recommendations and many of them I have incorporated into my life already. As a private yoga instructor and a chiropractor, I see, feel and hear disossication in my body and clients bodies. I do recommend chiropractic with practitioners who are aware and trained in recognizing pain from a vital approach vs a mechanistic approach. I think it’s important as coaches to recognize this a very effective modality for healing because it’s about coherence and adaptability not only from early childhood trauma but also from the daily grind and complex loss and grief.

I’m so thankful for your work and thank you for putting it out here and sharing your personal experiences as well!
