Wow. Now, I have a name for it. I never knew why I struggled with numbness. I always struggle to fight to “live in the moment” especially when I feel intense love, anxiety, fear, and anger. What I mean by that is, I can be present physically, but somehow I feel far away mentally. I can be having a conversation but it feels as if I am watching myself talk. In other areas, time can pass so fast during events that are supposed to be happy ones. When I am around loved ones especially, time goes so fast because I am not all there. I am there physically, but emotionally I am scattered. I always pray for God to help me to live in the moment so that I can experience life to the fullest.
Thank you so much for posting this to help me heal.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth
